How best to describe Temple House bed and breakfast? Our home is not a hotel and yet it enjoys the luxury and with a more personal touch. The family have been here for 350+ years! It is not just a bed & breakfast, or a guest house so we call it a family run luxury historic Country House bed and breakfast offering dinner to residents.
One of Sligo’s best bed and breakfasts and places to stay.
Each room boasts luxury antique furniture and décor. Helena has cleverly blended comfort and style with ease. There are 6 fine warm double/twin bed rooms, sleeping 14. Our family suite, called The Half Acre, is a popular choice for couples with or without kids.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the elegant dining room.
Meals are thoughtfully prepared and can be described as country house style with a modern Irish twist. A hearty breakfast is cooked to order and it is made of locally sourced ingredients; the dinner menu sometimes features lamb from our sheep farm.
Bed & Breakfast rates include:
full choice breakfast | taxes | organic VOYA toiletries | tea/coffee tray | hair drier | free WiFi | the estate to explore
Sit back in the Morning Room in front of an open fire or watch the sun go down on the lake shore. Relax. Join the party at the magnificently huge mahogany dining table. A three course dinner is available Monday to Saturday. We are pleased to cater for vegetarians and other dietary requirements with advance notice.
You don’t come to Temple House just for bed and breakfast.
Be sure to enjoy the extensive grounds and don’t hesitate to ask Helena and Roderick about what else there is to see and do in the area.
It’s a special place to stay in Sligo.
