The Wedding Breakfast

Our philosophy is that it should look good and taste great using the freshest of local ingredients. We choose to work with our very creative nominated caterer, who shares that view and in whom we have great confidence. Their experience, enthusiasm and expertise as they guide you through the shaping of your menu will fun. Menus will vary according to your preferences and they will always be pleased to discuss your ideas. Dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notice.

We can seat up to 120 in one room, 162 between two gorgeous rooms and more again in the vestibule. This may not be the regular set up but this is not your ordinary venue. We like to do the speeches before the meal in the garden or off the grand staircase so there is much greater flexibility PLUS the groom will be to able to relax and taste the food! Another option is a buffer style party for 200+ with either a seating plan or free seating – which might include sitting on the garden wall overlooking the lake.

During the meal you should work on ~1/2 bottle of wine (~24 euro) per person with food and 1/3 bottle of Prosecco (~30 euro). We have an extensive wine list although most like our house red and white for its quality and value.  We also run the bar for you until carriages at 2am.
