Holding Space
Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026
Limited to 14 guests
The timing is deliberate. You arrive as the evenings draw in, and you leave having gained an hour, a little more space, and the kind of quiet that is hard to find at home. A weekend to rest properly, restore your energy, and reconnect with yourself.
The retreat is led by Susan, Diana and Mars of Yoga Quarter Belfast. They will guide every practice across the weekend.
The pace is gentle and the welcome is genuine. This is a time to come back to your body, reconnect with your breath, and let the noise fall away. You do not need to be flexible, experienced or anything other than ready to switch off.
Two nights. One beautiful old house. Time to rest, room to restore, and space to reconnect, with yourself and with the people around you.

Your stay includes two nights at Temple House, all yoga and yoga nidra sessions and meals from Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast.
Rooms are available for single occupancy or to share with a friend. You are very welcome to come alone.
Mats and props are provided. Just bring comfortable layers, warm clothes and shoes for exploring the grounds.
This is a no-pressure weekend. Do as much or as little as you like, and head home rested, reconnected and hopefully feeling a little lighter.
THE RHYTHM OF THE WEEKEND
FRIDAY
(after 3pm)
Arrive, settle in and find your room.
We begin softly, with an evening of yoga nidra and sound bath to let the journey fall away and the weekend begins by a cosy lit fire.
SATURDAY
A morning of yoga to wake the body slowly.
The afternoon is yours.
For those who would like it, there is an optional session, Root to Rise: a journey through scent, movement and mindfulness, where you will blend your own fragrance to carry the weekend home with you.
There is time to walk the grounds, sit by the lake or simply do nothing at all.
Late afternoon we will gather for a slow gentle flow before we close the day with a beautiful meal in the dining room and Yoga Nidra before bed.
SUNDAY
A lazy morning, helped along by that extra hour, with a final gentle practice.
After brunch we go together to VOYA Seaweed Baths in Strandhill. Set on the Atlantic coast, these award-winning seaweed baths are the perfect way to round off the weekend, soaking in warm, mineral-rich seawater while listening to the waves roll in. From here either we head for home or have lunch and possibly enjoy a stroll along the beach.
