Strandhill Golf Course

The golf course features undulating fairways & unforgiving shortcuts – an unforgettable experience by all who play it. The par 70 course is challenging but rewarding!
It also had some superb scenery to admire while playing it – as Knocknarea Mountain, Culleenamore Strand and Strandhill Beach all act as back-drops during an 18 hole round.

Rosses Point Golf Course

Scenic and challenging 18 hole links course (6,136 metres) and 9-hole links course (2,785 metres). Bordering the Atlantic Ocean with Benbulben and Knocknarea backdrop and with scenic views of five counties from third tee. A challenge to the best of golfers and fun for all. Home to the West of Ireland Amateur Golf Championship at Easter. Open to visitors seven days a week, all year round. Course also has floodlit driving range.
Enniscrone Golf Course

The Dunes is one of Ireland’s top-ranked championship links courses; voted “Best in Connacht” by Golfers Guide to Ireland. It is repeatedly a top-15 links course in Golf Digest’s review of Irish golf courses and a perennial Top-100 UK course from Golf World. A “must play” as described by American golf novelist Tom Coyne.
Tubbercurry Golf Course

Tubbercurry was founded in 1991 and is a challenging nine-hole golf course. Its feature hole is the 6th, a 158-meter, par 3, index 12 played from an elevated tee-box, to a difficult green below. It has spectacular views of the Ox mountains and surrounding countryside.
Carne Golf Course

This 6,700-yard links is not a simple out and back affair. Each nine wends its way back to the clubhouse – the holes snake up and down through the dunes in all directions. As with any coastal course, the wind always plays its part. On a calm day you might play close to your handicap, but when the wind is up, hold on to your hat. Undoubtedly, Hackett has created a high-spirited golf course and it’s a layout that you cannot help but enjoy. “It would be great to believe that we could all leave as beautiful a signature on the world when we depart as Eddie Hackett managed to do,” said Michael Pask from Golf International after playing Carne.

Donegal/Murvagh Golf Course

Donegal Golf Club, often called “Murvagh Links,” is a magnificent championship course located on the Murvagh Peninsula, jutting into Donegal Bay. Designed by Eddie Hackett and refined by Pat Ruddy, this par-73 links course stretches over 7,400 yards, making it one of Europe’s longest.
Its isolated setting, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, Donegal Bay, and framed by the Bluestack Mountains, creates a tranquil and visually stunning golfing environment. The course features two distinct loops of nine, with the outer nine playing along the dunes and the inner nine offering a more protected but still challenging experience. Notable holes include the demanding par-3 5th, “Valley of Tears.” Despite its length, it’s a relatively easy walk. Darren Clarke, the 2011 Open Champion, hails it as “one of my favourite courses in the world,” a testament to its quality and unforgettable Irish links charm.
Westport Golf Course

Located in the shadow of Croagh Patrick, Ireland’s holy mountain, the course boasts fantastic views of the surrounding area from its elevated position above the shore of Clew Bay.
Measuring 6,980 yards in length and with five par-five holes, Westport is a demanding track that will test even the longest of hitters off the tee.
